Dispersion PR: Senior Events Publicist

The Role:

The Senior Events Publicist will, alongside the company directors and existing staffers, develop the events PR roster of Dispersion PR helping to drive the business forward. From new business pitches to the planning, implementation and reporting, the Senior Events PR will be responsible for the full spectrum of PR campaign activities on a global scale, including managing other Dispersion PR team members on selected projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Pitches
Chairing Client meetings
Campaign Planning & Implementation
Press Release Writing / Editing
Client Reporting / Clippings
Attending Client events (Hosting Press / Managing Photographer/Press Accreditation)
Feeding back to Directors
Some management of extended team

The Successful Candidate will:

Have a minimum of 2 years experience within electronic music events/festivals PR.
Have excellent media and industry relationships within electronic music.
Have an in-depth knowledge of all genres of modern electronic music, its culture and media.
Be passionate about electronic music culture and able to inspire others similarly.
Be an excellent communicator (written and verbal).
Have impeccable organisation skills. 
Be charming, professional and calm under pressure. 
Have strong delegation skills.
Ideally (but not essential), have some experience of Cision/Gorkana or other Media Directories.
Ideally (but not essential), have a Marketing/PR/Comms degree.
