Job Description

We are looking for an Infrastructure Manager (f/m/x) to join our IT department.

BMG runs, develops and expands a range of software applications to enable its music publishing, recorded music, and production music business. Applications range from metadata, digital asset and supply chain management systems, marketing applications, client income processing and analytics engines, to our marquee client service application and mobile app MyBMG and BMG Songs.

You will be responsible for...

  • Management of all DC hosted Application Infrastructure (ESXi, Elastic, Linux, Windows, SQL, DB2)
  • Act as in house infrastructure L3 resource working closely with our Application Support team
  • Provide expert technical guidance to Application Owners and Development Teams
  • Develop and maintain a capacity management process for key infrastructure components
  • Working with our IT service provider Arvato to at first align our SAN, ESXi, DB, Elastic, environments, and then to continually improve and adapt these in line with business growth and needs
  • Providing weekly infrastructure stability overview
  • Manage all Infrastructure (HW/SW/technical) requests with assistance from wider team where required
  • ‘Gatekeeper’ of Infrastructure Financial Requirements

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed a professional education in the fields of IT and work experience as an expert for infrastructure
  • Willingness to take a very hands-on approach when needed and quickly zoom out for architectural considerations and strategies
  • Committed and engaged individual who is able to balance her/his strong technical skills with appreciation of business processes, imperatives, and constituents.
  • Your English skills are excellent, German is a plus
  • You are highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities and demanding timeframes.
