The A Side: A Day in The Life  

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Finance Data Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is integral to supporting our key financial reporting and providing insights that drive strategic decisions across the Recorded Music Label Groups and Central divisions. 

 

  • Develop and maintain financial performance reports. 

  • Aggregate various data sources to provide comprehensive insights. 

  • Cleanse data and prepare it for reporting and analysis.   

  • Develop ad-hoc analysis to assist in shaping key business decisions. 

  • Ensure stakeholder needs are met through creating effective data reporting. 

  • Champion the use of data across the finance community. 

  • Educate and support team members in using data tools. 

  • Proactively looking at source data to ensure future accuracy. 

  • Work collaboratively within the FP&A team to support wider objectives and achieve team goals. 

 

The B Side: Skills & Experience  

  • Recent graduate in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business, or a related field OR have 1 years’ experience within a relevant role or industry. 

  • Ability to present data in a creative and clear manner.  

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting. 

  • Experience with data aggregation and cleansing techniques. 

  • Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, A40 Analysis, Big Query, and MicroStrategy. 

  • Knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation is advantageous. 

  • An interest in or passion for the music industry and its financial dynamics.
