The A Side: A Day in The Life
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Finance Data Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is integral to supporting our key financial reporting and providing insights that drive strategic decisions across the Recorded Music Label Groups and Central divisions.
Develop and maintain financial performance reports.
Aggregate various data sources to provide comprehensive insights.
Cleanse data and prepare it for reporting and analysis.
Develop ad-hoc analysis to assist in shaping key business decisions.
Ensure stakeholder needs are met through creating effective data reporting.
Champion the use of data across the finance community.
Educate and support team members in using data tools.
Proactively looking at source data to ensure future accuracy.
Work collaboratively within the FP&A team to support wider objectives and achieve team goals.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Recent graduate in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business, or a related field OR have 1 years’ experience within a relevant role or industry.
Ability to present data in a creative and clear manner.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
Experience with data aggregation and cleansing techniques.
Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, A40 Analysis, Big Query, and MicroStrategy.
Knowledge of SQL for data querying and manipulation is advantageous.
An interest in or passion for the music industry and its financial dynamics.
