We're looking for a Senior Manager, Artist Relations responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with priority SoundCloud artists/labels and growing their use and understanding of the SoundCloud platform. You will provide key insights into industry needs on the platform, focusing on expanding SoundCloud's relationships with the UK/EU music industry. You will also serve as an evangelist for SoundCloud and work across internal teams. 

The ideal candidate will be a clear, confident communicator with deep knowledge of the music industry, relationships, and experience working directly with the UK/EU music community.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Day-to-day management of designated key UK/EU artists/manager/label relationships at all levels
  • Representing SoundCloud to the UK/EU artist and management community through meetings, check-ins and updates regularly 
  • Lead strategy and activation in key UK/EU territories for education and music launches, ensuring culturally relevant and successful rollouts
  • Responsibility for communicating how the creative community can best use SoundCloud to grow their career, engage with and grow their fanbase, and monetize on the platform
  • Problem-solving for members of our UK/EU artist community
  • Working cross-functionally with Creator, Label Relations, Brand Revenue, Marketing, PR, and other teams within SoundCloud to represent the voice of the Latin Music community
  • Working closely with marketing, A&R, and data teams to identify and develop new opportunities for surface creators in outbound consumer and brand marketing/franchises

Required skills and experience: 

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in artist management or artist relations/marketing, focusing on the UK/EU music community
  • Deep knowledge of UK/EU music trends, digital platforms, and the ability to creatively address artist needs, with a passion for SoundCloud
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of building relationships with key industry players and leading culturally relevant projects
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail, adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment across various time zones
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively engage with all levels of management in a rapidly evolving music landscape
