Job Description

Luna Entertainment is a recently acquired Cinema and IP events company acquired by Sony Masterworks. This exciting finance role will support the recently appointed Finance Controller in a wide range of commercial and financial accounting responsibilities as Luna Entertainment embarks on expanding its IP event offerings. Following the transition to Sony systems this role will support the shared service team and FC with reviewing financial processing but also develop new financial reporting and analysis to support senior stakeholders as the business continues to expand.

What you'll do:

  • Assist FC and Offshore teams with daily, weekly and monthly financial processes (inc P2P, O2C, Expenses).
  • Assist FC and FD with Sony month end financial and management reporting
  • Sales Analysis – Assist FC and Marketing with ticket reporting and reconciliations for IP Events
  • Secondary Revenue – Assist FC and Operations with secondary revenue reporting and reconciliations for IP Events
  • Assist FC with IP Project budgeting and forecasting
  • Liaise with the external audit team, assisting with queries and facilitating the year-end process.

Who you are:

  • Part Qualified accountant (preferably CIMA).
  • Comfortable with both financial accounting and commercial analysis.
  • Confident at building financial models in excel.
  • Ability to build good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of SAP an advantage.
