We are looking for a focused and driven candidate, who has the ability to manage lots of suppliers whist developing a large range of music and character samples. Each concept submission or sample approval needs to be tracked and checked at each stage. You will work with various High Street and online retailers, as well as our Retail Partners. Keeping your Critical Path up to date will ensure we have a record that each step of the process is reached. For character approvals, you’ll use various portals to log sample development stages, whether apparel or accessories. Working with our in house system, you will learn how to raise Product Codes. Training will be on the job.

The B Side: Skills & Experience

Be Organised

  • Initiate Disney concepts and manage sampling process via their OPA system
  • Manage the Critical Path for selected accounts
  • Manage new concepts for character licenses
  • Create and maintain product codes and master data on Navision

Be Collaborative

  • Collate and send high resolution art to suppliers
  • Raise product samples with suppliers
  • Maintain and share branding guidelines for all artists
  • Manage and develop relationships with direct contacts and key customers and Suppliers
  • Work with the Sales Team on record retail partner accounts
  • Liaise with suppliers on deliveries and deadlines
  • Assist the Sampling & Approvals Manager on special projects

Person Specification

Necessary

  • Eye for detail and flexible working attitude
  • Organised and ability to work under pressure while working accurately on many projects
  • Flexible, courteous, friendly and positive approach to people
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Visible passion for music merchandise
  • Proactive approach to work - ability to prioritize, multi-task and pre-empt problems before they occur
  • Understanding of basic garment construction and printing methods
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good administration skills
  • Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and apply developed skills effectively
  • Proven communication (written and spoken), and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop an advantage
