The A Side: A Day in The Life
UMUK value e-Commerce as a key foundational channel to connect artists and fans. This is a fast paced role supporting our ecommerce product managers and our broader merchandise product strategy. You will be principal admin support to help with merchandise production admin tasks across our central and frontline labels.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
Work closely across multiple merchandise suppliers to build strong relationships.
Raise Purchase Orders in UMUK systems. Send PO to suppliers and manage packing + delivery requirements.
Oversee project planning boards in Monday.com managing and updating a PO and invoice tracker.
Dealing with approvals with eCommerce product managers and sending over relevant feedback for any reworks and deal with all queries across the department from suppliers, EPM / D2C team and label leads.
Manage invoicing process and support production managers on any supplier and PO queries.
Source products with suppliers, confirming MOQ, costings and lead-times.
Managing order requests from Ecommerce Product Managers for tour.
Sample management and approval - Support the print production workflow to include estimating, arranging visuals for approval, pre-production sampling if required, including delivery of print files to printer, oversee production and ensure timely delivery to warehouse.
Ad hoc QA of products in line with Product Development framework.
Organise sharepoint / print file archive for all artists.
Overseeing couriers and manual orders.
Where required, book and track courier shipments from suppliers.
Person Specification
2-3 years experience in a similar role and a sound understanding of product development, production and warehouse inbound processes.
Previous experience in the Music Industry / Tour / Merchandise company.
Previous experience working with printers and suppliers in the merchandise / apparel space.
Demonstrate (with actual examples) your track record of producing bespoke clothing / accessories working with merchandise suppliers and vendors.
Experience of working in cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion with an ability to react quickly and calmly to changing artist & label needs and deadlines.
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment lead by critical delivery dates.
Strong administration skills with good Excel knowledge required for preparing estimates.
Methodical work ethic with ability to follow production / flow and process.
Highly organised with ability to project manage print job from approval of initial visual through to printed product to warehouse.
Ability to liaise with third party vendors, initiate and fulfil initiatives in a proactive manner.
Experience of collating supplier KPIs.
PM tools – preferably Monday.com. PLM and DAM system knowledge a bonus.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
