Job Description

An exciting role, for a recent university graduate who is looking to start their career in the music industry, has arisen with a professional booking agency specialising in the electronic music sector.

The London office is seeking a highly organised and motivated Assistant to work within our Agency. The Assistant's role is to support the whole team, working across a diverse and world-renowned artist roster. Live Music Industry experience is beneficial, ideally in an agency context, solid understanding of the music industry, have excellent communication skills and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. 

Successful candidate will be office based Monday to Friday (No hybrid working). Due to the fact that this role is looking to commence in early October, the candidate must be able to start the position with immediate effect and live either in the SW London / Surrey region or within an hour's commute to the office location (Kingston Upon Thames). **Do not apply for this role if you are based outside of the regions stated**

Key Tasks And Responsibilities:-

  • Inputting and maintaining all Artist schedules with high attention to detail
  • Answering calls and emails on behalf of the Agent
  • Coordinating meetings and updating schedules for Artists
  • Reviewing Artist riders and ensuring they are adhered to on a per-show basis 
  • Producing and reviewing contracts for shows booked
  • Keeping account of all the money in for shows and chasing deposits/payments when needed
  • Collating ticket sales information and passing onto the relevant parties
  • Overseeing show artwork and announcements
  • Developing relations with managers/artists/venues/promoters
  • Serve as the main point of contact for managers, artists, venues, and promoters regarding logistical arrangements
  • Updating social media accounts
  • Organising worldwide Visas as well as Certificates of Sponsorship for artists entering the UK

Qualifications/Requirements:-

  • Solid previous Agency Assistant experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the music industry are essential
  • Experience of Tour Accounting is preferred
  • Experience of Artist Advancing and Travel is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Open to learning
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise a busy workload
  • Willingness to go the extra mile

 The role does require you to be on call for any rare emergencies during evenings and weekends
