As the Staff Accountant, you'll be responsible for assisting Accounting Manager with month-end close process and inventory reconciliation, which includes, but not limited to, journal entry preparation, posting of correcting inventory transactions to Oracle NetSuite, and location inventory count reconciliation.  Works under moderate supervision

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Reconcile inventory stocks to third-party perpetual inventory reports in a timely manner.
  • Identify, research, and resolve discrepancies during inventory reconciliation by utilizing Oracle NetSuite, Distributor Perpetual Inventory Statements and by working with cross-functional departments.
  • Monitor inventory transactions and unit costs for reasonableness.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and other general accounting tasks as needed.
  • Assist with month end close process.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Masters’ degree specializing in Accounting and/or Finance with 1-3 years relevant experience required, or the equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • Excellent general ledger accounting, reconciliation, analytical and research skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and Sumif
  • Outstanding communication and organization skills
  • Able to handle multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in inventory and manufacturing preferred
  • Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • General agreement and acceptance of the Company’s core values.

*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
