Job Title: LABEL COORDINATOR ADA & DISTRIBUTED LABELS
 
 
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and dedicated ADA Label Coordinator, who is eager to join our innovative and highly motivated team based in Melbourne.
 
 
A little bit about our team:
 
ADA is the independent distribution arm of Warner Music Australia. Based out of Melbourne, and led by the SVP ADA & Distributed Labels Australasia, our team work with an array of local and international artists, labels and management teams. In the role, you would be reporting to the Senior Label Manager ADA & Distributed Labels, providing general support to the ADA team, our partners & the Warner Melbourne office.
 
Why this could be your next big break: 
 
You’ll be working within our Independent Label Services division (ADA) assisting the team across independent local and International labels/artists, spanning genres from Hip-Hop/Rap, Electronic, Rock/Metal, Hardcore, Indie, Pop, R&B and more. This is an exciting, unique and challenging role which will see you assist on all elements of product set up, liaising with label partners, data analysis, sales campaign development, attending live shows and general administrative support to the team. ADA & Warner Music offers a fast paced and creative environment where you can share your ideas, develop your career and contribute to our continued success.
 
Here you’ll get to: 
  • You will work with our sales & distribution team on scheduling products across physical/digital platforms and providing sales analysis as required.
  • You will assist the ADA & Distributed Label team with the day-to-day running of the department.
  • You will communicate and share music, goals and strategy to key internal and external teams.
  • You will support the distributed label team with regular reporting & analysis, leveraging in-house data and reporting systems.
  • You will liaise with and support our distribution and supply chain partners.
  • You will  develop & manage creative artist retail campaigns.
  • You will create and circulate regular ADA communication tools.
  • You will oversee general office administration, and provide support to the team. 
 
About you:
  • You have experience in a similar role, ideally gained within the media industry. 
  • You are highly organized, have outstanding attention to detail, the ability to multitask & are digitally savvy.
  • You are an effective communicator and thrive in a team environment. 
  • You have a love of music and genuine interest in the music business.
 
It would be music to our ears if you also had: 
  • Broad music knowledge.
  • Understanding of the local & international music distributor landscape.
