Internal Tools is a small team based in Berlin who work on enabling, automating, and improving the workflows of SoundCloud’s Community Operations team. Our software and ingenuity help the Community Operations team provide customer support to millions of users via email, our help center, our community forum, and social media channels. To continue enabling the Community Operations team, and to help them scale their efforts, we are looking for a compassionate person to build and maintain internal support tools.
You are an experienced web programmer who is passionate about helping others in the workplace. You enjoy analyzing workflows, are able to see how to improve them, and can build or extend tools to implement the improvements. You can assess the impact of different improvements against each other to determine the priority of implementing them.
You will identify areas where we’re underutilizing existing resources and missing key capabilities. From our custom-built user administration system, to integrating with our third-party self-service help site (Zendesk) and community forum, to designing and building ways to measure and improve productivity, you’ll be responsible for the technology that keeps our Community Operations team working efficiently.
