Our Commercial Sales department are looking for a Streaming Data Analyst who will be responsible for exploiting the wealth of data that we receive from DSPs, enabling Sony Music to maximize revenue and market share.
You will develop a systematic program of reports to better inform the Digital Partnerships team/wider business on individual campaigns, DSPs and the market as a whole
You will deliver ad hoc sales/streaming and marketing analysis requests
You will be the go to person for the Digital Partnerships team for data driven insights
You will understand the nuances of each DSP with a view to optimise performance on each individual platform
Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Head of Catalogue Streaming to identify opportunities – for both short term and long term implementation
You will have experience in the music industry, preferably working at a digital platform. You will have experience in analysis, reporting, and/or finance. You will have an understanding of the current landscape of the music industry, have a customer service attitude to ensure the needs of the company are met in a timely and satisfactory manner.
You will be skilled in analytics, highly numerate and capable of interpreting large data sets and communicating and visualising findings clearly. You will have extensive experience working with all primary Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel including VBA programming. Experience using Alteryx, Tableau and Business Objects is preferred.
In addition, you will have positive interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively and confidently. Be organised and able to manage multiple projects.
