Job Description:

At Warner Music Group, we’re a global collective of music makers and music lovers, tech innovators and inspired entrepreneurs, game-changing creatives and passionate team members. Here, we know that each talent makes our collective bolder and brighter. We are guided by four core principles that underpin everything we do across all our diverse businesses:

  • Music is Everything: Music is our passion, and we can never get enough. Tastes, trends, and tech will change, but great artists and songwriters will always be our driving force.
  • Global Growth, Local Expertise: Music is a global language. Through communication and collaboration, our success can come from anywhere and translate everywhere.
  • Innovation and Insight: Pushing the boundaries requires the best information and the boldest imagination. We use both to create the future.
  • Empowered by People: Like the artists we serve and the music they make, our differences make us stronger. This is a place where every talent can belong and build a career.

We remain committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We know it fosters a culture where you can truly belong, contribute, and grow. We encourage applications from people of any age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, disability, veteran status, and any other characteristic or identity.

Consider a career at WMG and get the best of both worlds – an innovative global music company that retains the creative spirit of a nimble independent.

Your role:

This position will play a key role in managing master data related to the digital transformation of Warner Music Group across the globe.

Here you’ll get to:

  • Review and approve requests to create and/or modify master data, including customers, vendors, and various RTR areas, to ensure compliance with our global master data policies. Follow-up with customers/suppliers and internal stakeholders on actions related to master data management, as needed.
  • Supervise offshore resources in the management of customer and vendor master data in S/4 HANA, ensuring that all controls are met throughout the process.
  • Monitor shared master data email inboxes to ensure that inquiries/requests are being resolved on a timely basis.
  • Execute various master data management controls on a monthly basis.  Provide audit support for executed controls on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Lead efforts to enhance the master data change request process and the system reports required to execute the monthly reviews, as needed.  Liaise with various teams (e.g., OTC, PTP, Tax, IT, etc.) to implement the changes.
  • Assist with other areas of the RTR Transformation project, including pre- and post-go-live issues related to period-end close, consolidations, tax, banking, fixed assets, reporting, and project accounting.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in business, computer science, data science, finance, accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years working hands-on in an operational finance role
  • Experience working in master data management, including customer and vendor account management
  • Strong ability to translate business objectives into technical architecture
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • A self-motivated approach to proactively driving outcomes
  • A proven track record of working on large scale, fast-paced, and dynamic projects

We’d love it if you also had:

  • Experience with software like SAP S/4 HANA, Hyperion Reporting, Ariba, and PEGA
  • Masters degree in finance, accounting, computer science, data science, or a related field
  • Experience in digital transformation and/or ERP implementation
  • Knowledge of shared service work environments
  • Experience working with offshore teams
  • Effective interpersonal skills to work effectively with people
  • Experience working with a variety of different types of systems, databases, and technologies
