PR Manager

Position Overview:

As a PR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative and public image and development of our valued clients in the electronic music industry. This position demands a seasoned professional ready to lead and innovate in a rapidly evolving sector. You will be responsible for strategising and executing high-impact PR campaigns, leveraging your and our industry contacts to set the high levels MCPR expects from PR Managers.

Position Details:

• Lead PR campaigns: Craft compelling press releases and content for our digital platforms, ensuring alignment with our clients’ brand voice and objectives.
• Manage Client Accounts: As a PR Manager, you will be the first line of contact for Artists, DJs, Producers and other clients that MCPR works with. You will be expected to be able to handle the pressure and have the experience to know what to do, when to do it and how to deliver a PR management service that is up to the level of MCPRs professional reputation.
• Strategic Knowledge: Use your deep understanding of PR and marketing in the music industry to drive results and elevate our clients' presence in the global arena. You will have the experience to be able to strategise and lead campaigns for both established and up-and-coming artists.
• Client Relations: Foster strong relationships with our roster of world-renowned DJs and brands, ensuring their satisfaction and continued partnership.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in PR, preferably within the electronic music industry.
• Exceptional writing skills and command of the English language.
• Passion for House, Techno, EDM, and other electronic music genres. A diverse knowledge across the electronic music spectrum is essential.
• Advanced understanding of PR and marketing strategies in the music industry
• High Proficiency in Microsoft Office and remote collaboration tools
• A contacts book that enables you to know who to talk to and where to deliver the high-quality services that MCPR’s clients need.

Desirable Extras:

• Graphic design expertise (Photoshop, AI, Canva etc)
• Video editing expertise
• Knowledge and understanding of industry tools such as SongStats, Viberate etc
• Experience and contacts in the realm of DSP promotion and playlist promotion
• Social media management and content strategy experience
• Knowledge of influencer marketing and social media trends on TikTok and other platforms
• Interest/understanding of relevant AI trends in the music industry
• Knowledge of Wordpress or other similar platforms
• Multilingual capabilities
