Marketing Assistant Apprenticeship

Percolate is a club, festival and live music promoter & event producer booking the latest exciting talent across the UK.

We are looking for an electronic music lover who is passionate about all things marketing to join
Percolate Music. This is an excellent opportunity to gain on-the-job experience and learn from
leaders in the industry.

This role is a 15 Month Paid Apprenticeship with Big Creative Education.

As a Marketing Assistant apprentice with Percolate, you will be responsible for the following tasks,
but not limited to:

Socials: 

• Maintaining a scheduling calendar for socials posting 
• Following new trends and devising ways to incorporate these into our platforms to encourage tone
• Liaising with relevant venues+agents on posting schedule and content

Community Management: 

• Monitoring instagram DMs & general info@percolatemusic.co.uk inbox 
• Liaising with ticketing vendors on refund requests and ticket queries

Reporting: 

• Transcribing key marketing statistics, including but not limited to database growth, email marketing trends and broad advertising trends

Ticketing: 

• Listing tickets across our ticketing vendors (RA, Dice, Skiddle & more)
• Liaising with customer support on these vendors 
• Liaising with venues on ticket counts
• Monitoring allocations
• Recording ticket counts

Guest-list management:

• Collating and uploading guest-lists for shows

Skills required:

• Competent in Excel
• Google suite
• Confident creative views 
• Social media savvy – Instagram & Tik Tok are crucial

Personal Qualities:

• Organised
• Reliable 
• Music lover
• Office ready 

Training to be Provided:

• In-house mentoring
• Level 3 Marketing Assistant

Things to consider:
The apprenticeship programme and employment are inclusive of each other. You will need to
demonstrate excellent levels of commitment to both the training and job role.

You will work at Percolate Music 80% of the time, and study in further education 20% of the time. There will be opportunities for extra work at events on top if wanted outside of office hours - paid at London Living Wage as a minimum.

Qualifications Required:
Five GCSEs at Grades A*-C or 9 – 4 (including English & Maths), Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship. Although you can apply for this from a Post Graduate Degree level, we aim this role more at non-graduates. 

This role is 18+ as sometimes the role will require you to be in 18+ venues.

Future Prospects:
We will review all future progress based on the successful completion of the apprenticeship. We have employed three apprentices from this sort of scheme in the past - these all went on to work for us in good full-time roles, and all progressed through the business into long-term employment.
