Salary: £23-28k basic DOE + £10k commission OTE
Hybrid role: 3 days a week to our office in Old Street, 2 days working from home. This opportunity is not available as a fully remote role.
We’re Verso, the festival travel agency. For six years, we’ve been empowering some of Europe’s most successful music festivals to unlock their true potential, selling accommodation packages and travel, generating new revenue streams while giving a more complete and personal customer experience.
As we move into our next phase of growth we are looking to hire a proactive self starter to join our sales team. As a Sales Executive you will be a key member of the sales team, dealing with inbound enquiries from festival goers looking to book their holiday. You will work on several high profile music festival accounts. We use a broad range of tools for communication and you will be expected to utilise all of them to maximise sales. There will also be occasional work overseas on site at our clients’ festivals.
Responsibilities will include:
Using Whatsapp for business to qualify, quote and book customers.
Answering inbound customer calls.
Making outbound calls to various data sets.
Hitting targets and maximising sales across multiple events.
Managing a sales pipeline.
This will be a customer facing role and you’ll spend a lot of your time speaking to a diverse mix of festival goers to book them in and give them a great experience. During peak times this will be a very busy role with a high volume of inbound enquiries and the successful applicant will relish in a fast paced environment and be able to build rapport naturally in order to close sales and manage pipelines efficiently.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience in a sales/customer support role.
Excellent communication skills and a confident phone manner including the ability to use technique and persuasive language to close sales.
A passion for dance music and festivals.
High levels of organisation with strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
Proficiency in Excel.
