The Role:

To assist in the repair, service and test of Martin Audio equipment and associated products.

The role also encompasses the data capture and processing of test and repair results, investigative reports and the day-to-day inventory and stock management of Service department materials.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

  • Repair and test Martin Audio products.
  • Test components associated with the manufacture and service of Martin Audio Products
  • Record and process test and service results and capture appropriate data where required.
  • Assist in other testing and product service requirements where necessary
  • Test and repair/upgrade incoming customer returns.
  • Maintain a weekly stock check of parts required for service repair.
  • Production / Finished Goods and Driver testing when required.
  • Record and maintain repair data/spreadsheets for customer returns and returns to Martin Audio stock.
  • Prepare and produce test manuals and test instructions where necessary.

Skills and experience required:

  • Practically skilled with a ‘hands on’ range of abilities
  • Confident with the handling and repair of electronic products
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Methodical and analytic thinker
  • Organised and process driven.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident experience of Microsoft office and in particular Excel
  • Ability to create concise and informative reports for quality and measurement data.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Relevant engineering or quality/test/repair discipline qualifications or equivalent experience considered.

Job Conditions:

Martin Audio UK is situated in High Wycombe, with this site including Factory Production, Research & Development, Marketing, Sales, Service, Sourcing, and Central Functions (www.martin-audio.com).

You are expected to work at the company head office in High Wycombe on a full-time basis 37.5 hours per week, over the standard working hours of 8.45am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 4pm on Friday. An hour is allowed for lunch Monday to Thursday and 45 minutes on Friday.
