Channel Marketing Co-Ordinator

Based: High Wycombe
Term: Permanent, Full time

The Role:

Reporting to the Head of UK and Ireland, the Channel Marketing Co-Ordinator UK will manage the communication processes to the UK reseller channel, ensuring they have all they need for the effective roll out of all of our marketing campaigns, product launches and other brand-led activities. They will work as part of the wider FGEMEA team to ensure consistency of brand representation, both in stores and online.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Ensure all marketing initiatives and deliverables are communicated on time to include design and creation of email marketing content, and are followed up with our UK reseller partners to achieve participation.
  • Proactively develop close and strong working relationships with the marketing personnel of key resellers to understand their working practices and individual areas of expertise, in order to optimise our opportunities with them accordingly.
  • Provide clear and concise audits on the UK reseller network for the Head of UK & Ireland.
  • Manage reseller marketing performance in line with our contractual obligations.
  • Report on resellers’ quarterly marketing activity to gauge success.
  • Work with the wider marketing team at HQ to understand and contribute to global marketing strategies, ensure deadlines are met and marketing campaigns are both effectively deployed and optimised for success, in the UK and Ireland.
  • Work with the Head of UK & Ireland, UK Business Development Managers and wider sales team, as well as the FG EMEA Product Specialist(s) to ensure marketing communication is as effective as possible.
  • Work with the reseller network in the UK & Ireland to build and measure marketing campaigns, working with the creative team to ensure relevant assets are created on time and be able to assist in this process, and report on their effectiveness and engagement.
  • Travel in UK and Ireland an estimated once a Quarter to the top tier resellers to further cement relationships with the key personnel.
  • Help manage, attend and execute events and exhibitions, contributing to the budgeting, booking, and running of these events in the UK and Ireland.
  • Work as part of the FG EMEA team and with the EMEA Marketing Coordinator to ensure consistency and avoid duplication, whilst seeking to continuously refine and improve working practices.
  • Work across the Focusrite Group of companies to understand where alignment for marketing between brands exists, and where we can promote consistency.
  • Represent the UK & Ireland team at internal marketing meetings.

Skills and experience required:

  • Relevant Audio Tech or MI sector background is a significant advantage
  • Qualified to degree level in Marketing
  • Proficiency with Photo Shop / image manipulation software and all Microsoft Office apps is required
  • Personal attributes: proactive, confident, positive, out-going person and strong communicator.
