Junior Marketing Project Manager

Based: High Wycombe / Hybrid
Term: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £25000 - £32000 pa + excellent benefits

The Role:

The Junior Marketing Project Manager is responsible for helping the whole marketing team understand our priorities, get work done, and share our work with our teams around the business.

Firstly, they will be a hub for information about brand and marketing projects and their progress. They help the team to highlight obstacles and work to remove them, calling upon resource and expertise across the business to do so.

Secondly, they own our processes and have a dotted line to Head of Marketing Ops to ensure our processes make it as easy as possible for the Marketing team to deliver what they need to, and in a way that makes it as easy as possible for other teams to understand what we’re doing.

Finally, they’ll help represent the Brand and Marketing teams across the business’s other project management functions, ensuring synchronisation between CX, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Joining every brand and marketing project as a project manager, helping the teams identify and remove obstacles.
  • Helping Brand and Marketing teams to plan and organise complex projects in a way that helps those teams move them forward, sharing progress with external stakeholders.
  • Regular reporting on project ‘burndown’, or similar, for bigger projects such as new product introductions.
  • Ensure we have good process for capturing requests and seeing them delivered on-time and on-brief.
  • Work with Content Managers to ensure we’re managing outsourced work seamlessly with the rest of the team.
  • Ensure Marketing and Operations are communicating well on things like demo stock, pre-production unit allocations etc.

Skills and experience required:

  • 1 - 2 years' experience delivering projects
  • Able to demonstrate capability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrable ability to understand schedule risks and create a course of action to manage.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, identify critical path activities, and resolve resource constraints.
  • Familiar with project management systems; Wrike, MSProject preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Interest in music and the music industry would be an advantage.
