The Role:

The South-eastern Regional Sales Manager, Martin Audio USA will manage and lead Martin Audio South-eastern America’s distributor network and key customers by developing long lasting account and consultant relationships. Preparation, planning and accountability for sales, profit margin and market share targets, forecasts and projections within the assigned region are required.

To sell Martin Audio products and services to existing customers and prospective customers in coordination with the resellers and integrators in the South-eastern Region. Further job responsibilities include developing and executing account plans, vertical market focused Martin Audio campaigns, sales forecasting and weekly reporting on goals and achievements. Attend tradeshows (national and regional) as necessary at the direction of the Vice President.

You will be expected to travel up to 50% of the time.

Skills and abilities required:

  • Ability to effectively present Martin Audio’s products, services, and programs to accounts, prospective accounts, design consultants, FOH engineers, sound companies, integration companies and end users across the Region.
  • Intermediate to advanced user of MS Office Suite, Netsuite a plus
  • General understanding of basic sales and marketing concepts and drive to increase Martin Audio’s sales revenue within the assigned geographic region.
  • Effective verbal communication skills, good time management skills, strong internal motivation, and the desire to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Work with audio and/or video design consultants and design/build integration companies across South-eastern America to ensure that Martin Audio products are specified in current and future projects. Develop key relationships with production companies and FOH engineers to grow the brand's presence and success in the touring market.

Education and experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree a plus
  • 2-5 years as district sales manager preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of loudspeakers and their various applications.
  • 7-10 years of Audio Sales experience working in premium AV sector at either distributor, integrator, or manufacturer
  • Self-motivated, organized individual who can see a sale through the entire process from specification to proposal to closing and final commissioning.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Presentation skills, use of PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Expert in building and sustaining professional relationships.
