Job Description

Senior Regional Programmer (Music & Comedy)

The Ambassador Theatre Group is an extraordinary success story in the live entertainment industry. Founded in 1992 in the UK, we’ve grown into the world’s number one live-theatre company today. We cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to ticketing platforms and producing shows. We are passionate about great shows and our ambition is to help them find the largest possible audiences.

We are excited to be recruiting a Senior Regional Programmer (Music & Comedy) to support the development and curation of its music and live entertainment programme across its 23 regional venues. This role will be based in our London Head Office in Shaftesbury Avenue.

The successful candidate will ultimately work to maximise the commercial success, quality, relevance and diversity of content across all of the UK regional venues, optimising existing content and identifying new opportunities. They will establish and maintain excellent relationships with promoters and negotiate sound commercial agreements. They will work closely with other programming team members and venues to develop and implement new content initiatives, building balanced and high quality programmes.

You will ideally have proven experience of working within the live music and/or comedy sector, preferably in a programming / venue booking role alongside a strong network of industry contacts including promoters, agents and venues.
