Job Description

Percolate is a club, festival and live music promoter & event producer booking the latest exciting talent across the UK.

We are looking for an accomplished marketer to lead on event promotion and brand direction across all Percolate IP’s. 

If you are a committed and passionate member of the electronic music community looking to build a repertoire of experience across club, festival, and live promotion then this is the role for you. 

You will be responsible for spearheading promotions across the entire business, with a strong focus on London but rolling out across key UK locations and internationally. Alongside this you will oversee all our brand communications, from storytelling to content creation. We believe in strong brands. 

A detailed understanding of the nuances of event promotion is key, and you will come armed with tried and tested processes for on-sale coordination, campaign management, reporting, and budgeting. 

You will lead a group of internal team members, and external freelancers, with opportunities to add to the department with your own hires as the business grows.

Most importantly you will be excited for the demands that an industry such as ours brings, with an expectation that you may work some irregular hours and weekends. 

This is a management level position which will very quickly involve you in strategic decisions with senior management, allowing you to have an influence in the future direction of the business at a time where we have ambitions to grow into new areas and opportunities.

Responsibility:

  • Lead on the marketing and promotion of all Percolate & Percolate Live events 

  • Leading and developing the existing marketing team and resources 

  • Integration with the programming department, understanding the event pipeline and contributing ideas  

  • Write and oversee execution promo plans for all events 

  • Take charge of on sale process, coordinating assets and partners 

  • Oversee and direct all digital adverts & social media & artist support 

  • Oversee and direct database management and mailer strategy

  • Oversee art direction, video content, and design

  • Growing Percolate promotional capabilities as the business scales 

  • Working with artist teams to bring to life unique promotional ideas 

  • Coordinating tour announcements and promotions across multiple cities 

  • Hiring and management of any new staff required to build the department 

  • Maintaining and inputting marketing budget costs against event P&L’s

  • Implementing internal processes and leading on regular team strategy meetings

  • Exploring new promotional channels e.g. Tiktok

Required:

  • Passion and knowledge for house, techno, disco, garage, drum & bass and emerging electronic music genres such as amapiano. Additionally will be passionate about diverse live music beyond electronic as will be involved in Percolate Live.

  • Passion for creative marketing and implementing novel ways to break through to audiences old and new.
  • Previous experience selling tickets for music events 

  • Knowledge of the wider scene and market with an emphasis on London
  • Knowledge of paid media and how to implement effectively across all main digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Google, Youtube, TikTok)

  • Attendance and management at the key events on nights and weekends

Remuneration:

£30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience

Type:

Full-Time Role -If you have existing opportunities/businesses this may be possible to incorporate into the role also.

Location:

Head Office in East London - You will be expected to be in the office 3 days per week minimum.
