Job Description:

 Elsewhere is looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented Content Creator to join our rapidly growing, creative, and effective marketing team. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and effective communicator and creative storyteller, a TikTok native and personality, quick on their feet to react to emerging trends with the ability to turn content ideas into brand-building narratives.

 This individual will be responsible for maintaining the look and feel of our TikTok channel, as well as own channel growth, impressions and engagement as their main KPI. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Video editing, production, scheduling and publishing of video content, livestreaming, conducting research on our target audience and industry trends, and more. Other responsibilities will include creating edits and iterations of content for cross-channel posts (Reels, YouTube Shorts) and Paid Media. Attention to detail, sensitivity to online discourse, and ownership of projects is a must, as you will also be working with various team members across cross-functional departments as well as our community stakeholders to ensure seamless production of content.

 Our ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of current best practices for short-form media, previous success in creating content on TikTok and/or Reels, and understanding of various marketing tools to monitor and measure the effectiveness of campaigns. A genuine passion for quality content, and highly effective storytelling specifically within emerging music and culture, is a must - if this sounds like you, please get in touch.

 This position will report to the Content Marketing Director, and work closely with teammates in Social Media, Event Marketing, Programming, and Venue Operations to coordinate social media content and strategy initiatives. Some flexibility to work on-site during certain evenings and weekends is required.

Your day to day is…

• Manage production calendar and content calendar for Elsewhere’s TikTok channel
• Create highly entertaining and well researched value-add short form content, either front-facing and/or collaborating with key Stakeholders (Staff, Community, Artists)
• dentify trending concepts and collaborate with creative teams to quickly produce and distribute content.
• Brainstorm and produce content shoots both on-site and off-site
• Create edits and iterations of both created and existing content according to brand-aligned content strategies for channels including, but not limited to, TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Paid Media.
• Write copy and scripts, design, and distribute TikTok posts that build brand awareness, sustain the curiosity of audiences, and generate virality through knowledge of Hooks, Narratives, CTAs.
• Host livestreams and produce artist/staff/community interviews
• Conduct market research on audience preferences and latest industry trends to create and        develop relevant branded content
• Working closely with the department to develop various projects and campaigns that ultimately drive follower and engagement growth
• Measure and analyze post campaign success using defined KPIs
• Suggest ways to optimize systems, content, engagement and conversions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
• Facilitate and engage in conversations with customers, community, and network 

You’ll be successful in this role if you have…

• Minimum 1 year in a social media marketing 
• Educational background in new media, marketing, or other relevant field of study
•  Native user of social media and short form video content, including TikTok, Reels, Shorts.
•  Proficiency in keyword research, social media SEO and campaign reporting tools
•  Working knowledge of online marketing channels and strategies
•  High aptitude at creating and delivering creative video content (image, video, and text)
