We are currently seeking a Chief Community Officer. The ideal candidate would be passionate about music, our technology and of course the community we serve. If you are self motivated, resilient, a great communicator, and very well organised, keep reading:

Role:

• Report to the CEO and oversee the Company’s press & communications efforts, sourcing of global partnerships, expansion into emerging markets, management of community/non-profit partnerships, and the overall development of the Company’s relationships with the diverse communities it counts as customers
• Has the strategic vision to be an integral member of the senior leadership team

• Able to build a strategic plan around new business and partnership opportunities, and provide necessary insights between those considered initiatives and the financial implications to the business
• Build and manage a globally dispersed team, utilising KPIs to monitor progress
• Develop detailed analysis on the prioritisation of Company’s goal of expanding its presence in key emerging markets including: MENA, South Africa, Latin America, SE Asia and Australia.
• Collaborate with other group leaders to share resources, execute projects, and deliver a minimum return on investment to the business
• Represent the Company at industry conferences and events, and leverage your network to amplify the Company’s standing in the global music industry
• Coordinate all interactions with social justice companies seeking to leverage the Company’s unique position in the music industry to drive awareness for their platforms
• Play a leading role in the Company’s “Diversity, Inclusion and Social Action” Committee, that helps set internal and external standards, policies and best practices

Ideal Candidate will have: 

• 10-15 years of relevant experience, minimum
• Prior experience at a music or media company working in Global Partnerships, Business Development or Corporate Development
• Significant experience managing globally dispersed teams and a proven track record of delivering tangible value for the organisation
• Some experience working with community/non-profit organisations preferred
• Ideally some knowledge of, or training on, diversity and inclusion best practices
• Someone who has experience working in developing/emerging markets would be an asset
• Developing, structuring, leading, and coaching high performing teams
• Able to manage and adapt to teams from different cultures
