Job Description

A Man About A Dog are London’s biggest underground event organisers, holding parties in unique and unusual locations across the capital and are the exclusive music promoters at Tobacco Dock.

Our brands include LWE, Junction 2 Festival, COGO, SPHERE and ION Festival and we frequently collaborate with a number of other exciting names, like Elrow, Abode and Hospitality.

About the Role

This is an apprenticeship working towards a L3 content creation qualification 

£10,300 ( (employer pays for course) for the first 12 months - potential of permanent, fully paid role thereafter. 

You will be reporting to the Marketing Team assisting with the day to day running of the social media channels and website. The ideal candidate will have a love for electronic music and a desire to grow within their role as well as creating new and exciting marketing ideas to present to the team and be instrumental in facilitating them

Purpose of Role:

  • Provide consistent and essential support for the marketing team –
  • Ensure the smooth running of all social media channels (LWE, COGO, ION, J2)

Social Marketing responsibilities:

  • Running the day-to-day executions and scheduling of social media posts (Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, twitter)
  • Responsible for helping to create audiences / exporting data / data collection to be used for paid social advertising campaigns
  • Responsible for ensuring our events are completely up-to-date on social media in terms of info and artwork
  • Responsible for all customer communication on social media channels, including but not limited to comments on posts and direct messages.
  • Assisting the Social Media Executive in delivering innovative and creative social campaigns which add value and content to an overall event promotion plan
  • Liaising with social media pages and press for promo support.
  • Building and managing influencer networks relevant to our events
  • Content creation – be up to date with social media trends, creating content for social media channels

Email Marketing responsibilities:

  • Developing and execution of email marketing plans
  • Copywriting and building mailers for email marketing

General Marketing responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring our events are completely up-to-date on AMAAD and ticket agent websites in terms of info and artwork
  • Ensuring key marketing is going out via ticket agents and that they are marketing our events fully
  • Curation, delivery and promotion of DJ mixes for COGO series

Personal Qualities:

Must have an understanding and appreciation of night-time electronic events.

Skill Required:

Desirable:Knowledge on all social platforms
Ability to recognise new trends for digital marketing and campaigns

Training to be Provided:
In-house mentoring
Level 3 Content Creator

Things to consider:.International travel may be involved.

Qualifications Required:
Five GCSEs at Grades A*-C or 9 – 4 (including English & Maths), Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a relevant Level 2 Apprenticeship.
