Job Description

Night Time Economy Solutions has been appointed to support the Lady of the House Advisory Board with the restructure of the Lady of the House Team and business. As part of this, we are handling the recruitment of a General Manager who will take over day-to-day senior leadership of the Lady of the House Brand. This is an exciting opportunity to take an incredible brand forward into the next stage of its evolution supporting women in dance music.

We are looking for a General Manager based in the UK. This role is a key senior leadership position with the opportunity to progress as the company grows.

We are looking for someone with a passion for upholding our mission to Celebrate, Champion and Honour women in the Dance music industry. You will be responsible for leading and building a team of dedicated specialists providing bespoke, creative solutions to help all women thrive in the electronic music industry.

You will lead on all internal projects and actively work to develop new business leads by working with existing and new stakeholders and partners. Your role is focused on the six key tasks; shaping the work environment, setting short-mid term strategy, based on longer-term goals, allocating resources, developing team members and managers, building the organisation, and overseeing operations.

As an ideal candidate, you will possess a passion for women in electronic music and serving the communities within this. As a person, you will need to be engaging, and reliable, with good communication skills, enjoy partnership working and be very resourceful.
You will be responsible for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the company's overall operations

This job is mainly home-based and will involve global travel, it may involve some night work & weekends all equipment needed to work from home will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

● Directly reporting to the advisory board
● You will be a credible face of the Lady of the House
● Manage the day-to-day business including budget management
● Create revenue streams and be responsible for fundraising
● New business development and workflow pipeline including ensuring that a company is on track
to meet its financial goals
● Oversee, motivate and encourage team, specialists and contractors.
● Hire, train, and evaluate new employees, specialists and contractors.
● Lead on client projects ensuring that they are accurately quoted, and the right resources are
allocated, and that they are fulfilled to the highest standards, on time and within budget
● Lead on marketing & PR working alongside our external teams
● Lead & build on relationships with stakeholders such as Artists, Venues, Festivals, Partners,


The role holder should have at least 3 years of experience in the following

● Working in a leadership role in the electronic music, dance music sector or associated industries
● Strong communication skills with people at all levels
● Project management or delivery experience
● Budget Management
● People and HR management
● Passion for partnership working and bringing people together over a shared aim of great
● Understand the challenges facing women and non-binary people in the electronic music industry
● Events organisation
● Artist management
● Strong attention to detail
● Creative problem solving
● Calm under pressure in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment


Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
