We are looking for an Operations Assistant to join our team and support the Venue Manager and Bar Manager in the day to day running of the building, bar, events and maintenance.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who is at the start of their career in music and events and wants to develop production, operations and administrative skills that will enable them to grow within the music and/or events sectors.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Opening and closing of the venue, including overseeing load ins/outs on event days
Assisting with setting up the venue on event days
Acting as stagehand on event days, including stage building and moving of the stage and PA
Taking deliveries of stock
Assisting the Bar Manager with Stock Management including carrying out daily line checks
Assisting with Waste Management
Conducting regular maintenance checks and assisting the Venue Manager with organising repairs and maintenance
Ensuring First Aid Kits are fully stocked
Working as bar or floor staff at some events

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Demonstrable enthusiasm for music events
Ability and willingness to perform a reasonable level of physical effort, including lifting, pulling, and other potentially strenuous movement
Excellent organisational, administration and communication skills
A creative and open approach to problem solving
Demonstrable ability to work with people from a wide variety of backgrounds
Ability and willingness to contribute to continuous improvements to systems and processes
Organised, self-motivated, with a high level of initiative and the ability to work across a range of tasks simultaneously
Accurate with a good eye for detail
Willingness to work flexible and unsocial hours including bank holidays, weekend, late-night and early-morning shifts (to be recompensed by taking time off in lieu)

Full time (42.5 hours/week)

Annual leave entitlement: 33 days including bank holidays
