The Role:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Co-ordinator is responsible for co-ordinating trade shows, maintaining databases, planning and executing social media and email campaigns, updating of website with relevant stories and content, maintaining photo library and promotional materials inventory and as required supporting other departments including sales with any relevant coordination duties.

This position is a fixed term contract for 15 months.


  • Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and co-ordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; co-ordinating mailing lists, maintaining to do lists, ordering product and materials, organising shippers, coordinating hotels and ancillaries.
  • Maintenance of marketing database which is critical to ongoing sales and marketing activity.
  • Planning rolling monthly social media and weekly emails and responsible for impactful creative solutions to the plan.
  • Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Update website with relevant news stories and content
  • Maintaining photo library, creating additional assets where required.
  • Support other departments - including sales - as coordination duties arise or relaying of relevant company information.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.
  • Accomplish organisation goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Liaison with the rest of the marketing team, management, sales, warehouse and engineering staff as co-ordination requirements arise.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in Marketing Co-ordination
  • Project Management experience would be beneficial
  • Ability to create reports
  • Creative and able to produce content
  • Digital Asset Management
  • Well developed communication skills
  • Good initiative and able to manage own workload
  • IT literate in MS Office, Photoshop, Survey Monkey, Social media including scheduling (eg Hootsuite), and MailChimp.

Job Conditions:

You are expected to work at the company head office in High Wycombe on a full-time basis 37.5 hours per week, over the standard working hours of 8.45am to 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 8.45pm to 4pm on Friday. An hour is allowed for lunch Monday to Thursday and 45 minutes on Friday. On occasion you may be asked to work overtime, for which no remuneration will be given.
