Software QA Engineer (m/f/d)
Location: Berlin, Germany
Term: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Negotiable + excellent benefits

If you have answered yes to both of the above, we’d love to hear from you! We are expanding our QA Team, and we are looking for someone to join us, testing the software that will help to power our next generations of studio monitors.
What you will be doing:
Reporting to the QA Manager, you will be part of a new agile software development team that is focused on the successful delivery of software to our users.
As an experienced professional, you will help to establish good practice in the planning and documentation of software testing within an agile development environment, and in the appropriate use of automated testing. Contributing to a continual evolution of our test approaches and tools will be a key part of your role.
You will work closely with the software developers and product owner within your team, as well as more broadly across a growing multi-functional engineering department.

Key activities include
- Defining the scope of QA/Test activities across key software projects
- Creating and maintaining detailed test plans and test cases
- Executing functional, non-functional, and user acceptance tests
- Implementing automated testing wherever appropriate
- Documenting and reporting test results, working closely with software developers to address any issues
An ideal candidate would be…
- from a testing or quality assurance background, with 3+ years of professional experience working with desktop software.
- familiar with both Mac and Windows operating systems.
- experienced in writing automated end-to-end tests in an appropriate programming language, and familiar with basic C++ syntax.
- qualified to degree level in a relevant discipline.
- a clear communicator, methodical and rigorous, with a logical approach to problem solving.
- self-motivated, with a ‘growth mindset’
- passionate and knowledgeable about music and audio technology.
- fluent in both spoken and written English.
Experience of some of the following would also be useful:
- German language (written and verbal communication)
- Continuous Integration (CI) and Version Control Systems (preferably Git)
- Agile development approaches (e.g. Scrum)
- Qt framework
- C++ test frameworks
