About the job

The Logistics Coordinator will assist the NOMOBO technical teams in all aspects of production from the Torrance, CA NOMOBO USA location while delivering a high level of quality and service. The Logistics Coordinator supports day-to-day technical operations by keeping equipment in operation and ready for use, maintaining an accurate inventory, and providing logistical and administrative support. Primary duties include providing support to the NOMOBO technical and production teams. The Logistics Coordinator should be a team player and seek ways to enhance NOMOBO through supporting team members and the overall functioning of the USA Production facilities.

The responsibilities

  • Keep NOMOBO equipment in operation, clean and functional

  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of NOMOBO equipment in the US at all times
  • Coordinate with vendors on equipment rental requirements for projects
  • Coordinating equipment shipments in consultation with project teams, USA Engineer in Charge (EIC) and Technical Producer
  • Pro-actively advise the warehouse Manager and USA based EIC if repairs or supplemental parts are needed
  • Gather, check and pack requested equipment
  • Create ATA Carnet lists/ Commercial invoices
  • Administer the serial numbers of the contents of returning shipments so the ATA Carnet lists/Commercial invoices can be matched with the outbound shipments
  • Receive, check and book incoming shipments
  • Coordinating logistics with production, the warehouse and the Team Technical services
  • Inventory management
  • Maintain resources software and keep it up to date

 

Technical Resource Management

  • Keep equipment in operation, clean and functional
  • Track, schedule and monitor resources
  • Maintain resources software (Rentman) and keep it up to date
  • Reports and handling of damage, malfunctions or missing items

 

Warehouse Management

  • Manage the workload of the warehouse (Operative)
  • Optimize and structure current workflows, tools and processes
  • Create and implement new solutions and workflows to improve the efficiency and quality of our logistics
  • Ensuring complete equipment request lists are received within deadlines
  • Identify useful improvements within Rentman
  • Check equipment lists

 

Technical Resource Management

  • Keep equipment in operation, clean and functional
  • Track, schedule and monitor resources
  • Maintain resources software (Rentman) and keep it up to date
  • Reports and handling of damage, malfunctions or missing items

 

Logistics support

  • Gather, check and pack requested equipment
  • Create ATA Carnet lists/ Commercial invoices
  • Receive, check and book incoming shipments
  • Coordinate with vendors on equipment rental requirements for projects
  • Assist with technological needs and access for freelance and ad hoc production staff
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of NOMOBO equipment in the US at all times
  • Coordinating equipment shipments in consultation with project teams and NOMOBO Engineer in Charge (EIC) and Technical Producer
  • Coordinating equipment shipments and returns in consultation with project teams
  • Pro-actively advise NOMOBO EIC and Senior Management if repairs or supplemental parts are needed
