Who You Are:

A content strategy visionary with an eye for talented writing! Passionate about dance music with a deep understanding of what it means for the dance music community to come together to share the experience of authenticity, unparalleled travel destinations, music discovery, and making memories that last a lifetime!


The Role:

We are searching for an editor who will lead the charge in planning, assigning, editing, and publishing content for a platform dedicated to bringing first-in-class content, events, and experiences to the global dance music community. A successful editor is forward-thinking and understands what makes content innovative in today’s market. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain multiple tight deadlines simultaneously with the help of managed outside contractors. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain a network of top-level writers 
  • Send out and respond to pitches for content topics.
  • Assign, edit, and publish editorial content
  • Hire and lead outside contractors for content writing
  • Liaise with artist management and festival teams about opportunities for interviews and other relevant content pieces written in support of artists, labels, club nights, and festivals
  • Develop and iterate on brand voice for all brand communication by establishing and maintaining style guides
  • Coordinate onboarding paperwork, including NDA’s and W9’s for writers
  • Fact check articles to ensure authenticity and position the brand's voice as an authority on the subject matter.
  • Analyze traffic and engagement for published content to determine content strategy changes



  • 5+ years of experience as an Editor or Junior Editor
  • Highly knowledgeable on topics related to dance music, specifically house and techno, and related artists
  • Mastery of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Experience working with other team members to produce content
  • High level of experience writing and editing journalistic content, listicles, news, and profiles
  • Proficient in Google Suite and Sheets 
  • Comfortable using modern collaboration software, including Asana, Google Docs, Airtable, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in search engine optimization 
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal direction
  • Hyper-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to write copy in different voices for our diverse customer group
  • A knack for building relationships
  • Always on – highly responsive and flexible.
  • A fresh understanding of live events with preferred experience in house/ EDM 


Work Location and Schedule:

Monday to Friday 10-6 pm 

Nights and weekends are sometimes required. This industry often requires working at odd hours.
