What we’re looking for:

There is a very exciting opportunity for an ambitious Operations Coordinator to join Broadwick Live's Entertainment team and play a pivotal role in the activation of our new projects. This person will be working alongside our entertainment operations team by focusing on activation, planning and delivery of upcoming exciting new projects. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the scope to work across all aspects of the events.

You will play a key role in the successful delivery of these events that vary from indoor to outdoor from a 5,000 capacity to 20,000 capacity.

To be successful, you will have excellent previous demonstrable experience in a similar role within the entertainment industry, with a good understanding of live and electronic music events. You will have a natural passion for customer service combined with strong operational acumen and excellent team leadership skills. You will be extremely organised, with a real ability to get things done, and a strong determination and understanding of how to drive the business forward.

We’re looking for a strong communicator who’s flexible and willing to get stuck in. The role will combine a mix of office and site-based working. During show days, this will be a very hands-on role, and you will be a key member on site helping to lead the build, break and overall delivery of show operations for each event.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Event Day Management; performing on-site operational tasks, both on event and build & break days including - but not limited to - being responsible for all accreditation, staffing levels, supplier handling and floor management.
• Client Relations; liaising with key clients, concert promoters, and other event owners to provide services for the delivery of music shows and third party events.
• Internal Operational Support; assisting the Operations Manager to develop and deliver strategic operational plans for a variety of large scale music events.
• External Operational Support; assisting wider partners, promoters and clients with any operation requirements they might have.
• Event Safety; participating in SAG meetings to produce events demonstrating the safest industry practices.
• Staffing; managing our pool of freelancers, building show-day teams, onboarding, right-to-work checks, keeping on top of invoicing and payments.
• Suppliers Relationship Management; being a key point of contact for suppliers across everything from procurement to delivery.
• Show Briefing; pulling together all relevant inter-departmental information ahead of event days in order to communicate relevant information to key event stakeholders.
• Scheduling; establishing production schedules for projects and communicating effectively to all relevant parties – ensuring all information is up to date.
• Innovation; implementing new processes and procedures that aid growth and financial efficiencies.
• Good Practices; ensuring that all teams follow correct conduct in line with the venue’s policies and procedures.

You’ll need to have:

• A proven track record of success in venue management roles or supporting live events.
• An in-depth knowledge of Excel and project management software.
• Exceptional organisational skills.
• The ability to take ownership and execute multiple work streams simultaneously.
• A strong desire to contribute beyond the role and to lead strategic initiatives to increase profits and aid growth.
• Excellent communication skills and presentation.
