Accounts Payable Analyst

Term: Full-time, Permanent

Location: High Wycombe / Hybrid

Salary: £23000 - £26000 pa + excellent benefits

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join Focusrite’s finance team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have previous purchase ledger experience.

About the role:

The AP Analyst role is responsible for the purchase ledger process, from raising of purchase orders, through to AP payments.

This role will reporting directly to the Senior Accounts Assistant and is full time for 37.5 hours per week.

Essential functions and major responsibilities:

Purchase Ledger

  • Full purchase ledger maintenance; raising PO’s, chasing approvals, posting invoices in various currencies in a timely manner
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Invoice and payment queries
  • Prepare and process weekly BACS and bank payments
  • Continuous improvement to the AP function


  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with interim review and year-end audit
  • Participate in ad hoc tasks and projects where required

About you:

  • Accounts payable/accounting experience
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Efficient and methodical approach with good attention to detail
  • Good team working skills
  • Ability/desire to use own initiative but also know when to seek advice
  • The ability to work to monthly deadlines
  • An aptitude for IT – knowledge of software packages like Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite would be beneficial, but not essential
