The Role:

The Splice Growth team builds and maintains the core set of features that drive top-of-funnel growth at Splice, and identifies opportunities across the Platform to better connect users to the value that Splice provides through our logged out, registration, trial, checkout, and payment experiences.  

As an Engineering Manager of Growth, you’ll partner with the product, marketing, design and data teams to build an excellent team, plan and sequence work, and of course support the engineers in executing these outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

We expect that an Engineering Manager at this level will:

  • Build exceptional teams of highly-engaged engineers by hiring, coaching, and instilling a sense of ownership
  • Work with product, design, and marketing to define the Growth team’s vision and roadmap by thoroughly understanding customer needs and how they inform what we build to achieve our business goals
  • Leverage your technical expertise to ensure your team delivers well thought out, easy to extend code within the guidelines put forward by our Chief Architect and Principal Engineers
  • Make critical decisions about staffing, including hiring and organizational planning along with your Director of Engineering
  • Partner with Engineering Management on strategic planning and take on initiatives to continuously improve the Engineering organization with respect to our developer’s health, happiness, confidence, and competence

What will make you stand out:

  • You have 2+ years of experience as an engineering manager
  • You are interested in growing your leadership skills and eventually taking on a more senior management role
  • You have explicit experience on a Growth team responsible for any of logged out, registration, trial, checkout, and payment experiences

In accordance with New York law, the salary range for this role if filled within New York is $185,000.00 - $225,000.00.
