Forward Motion Artists are currently seeking a Content Creator to join our Marketing Team. Working on one client account with a monthly content production budget, your day to day objectives will be to develop, create and lead the artists content strategy on Instagram, Tik Tok and other social platforms by creating standout content to drive engagement. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable about the latest TikTok and Instagram Reels trends, as well as a creative thinker and trend-setter who enjoys experimenting with platforms in unique and unexpected ways.
Coming up with original content ideas for Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube. Executing the content ideas from start to finish.
Collaborating with graphic designers, animators, editors, photographers, videographers, to create rich, engaging content that maintains a consistent visual style and is aligned with the artists aesthetic.
Growing the artists IG, Tik Tok and YouTube channels through original content.
Video editing behind-the-scenes footage, teasers, trailers, reels, music release videos.
Creating unique and creative spins on traditional artwork assets for use on social media.
Create engaging social stories for the artist (working with his content capture team).
Attending gigs when needed to capture content, post stories, live content etc.
Identify and tap into emerging TikTok and Instagram trends and tools to maximize the reach and success of the artists content.
Keep up to date with current design, culture and audience trends and apply relevant trends to content ideas + briefs.
Stay up-to-date on established and up-and-coming talent to bring larger creative ideas to life (e.g. photographers, illustrators, influencers, and and other artists).
Keeping an organized schedule of what content is needed for when, anticipating way in advance when content will be needed (and prepping for that), ensuring assets and content is delivered and approved on time ready for posting.
You are a maker at heart and can do some/most/or all of the following – shoot, edit, direct, design, animate, write social copy.
Previous experience working in a creative environment creating content with an emphasis on social media.
You should have knowledge of the electronic music scene and club culture.
Must have a great eye for design and aesthetic.
Visual thinker with a knack for creating and curating conversational, shareable content - you should have the ability to bring great ideas to life.
You should be genuinely interested in current social media, design and culture trends.
Extensive knowledge of TikTok and IG platforms including trends and best practices.
Collaborative, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
Ability to quickly pitch and execute innovative, next level concepts.
Advanced knowledge of Adobe CS Suite, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and photo and video equipment.
After Effects or other animation programs a plus.
