Job Description

Dispersion PR is seeking an electronic music publicist. The role will see the candidate work with PR teams and other stakeholders on press and radio opportunities around single/album release campaigns as well as long term artist PR strategy within a range of electronic music genres. 

The candidate will have a strong understanding of the electronic music/DJ/events industry and be organised, have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at once and have demonstrable experience in handling campaign work. 

A successful applicant will become part of a friendly but driven team of professionals in a company which prioritises developing its employees as much as it does its clients. 

You must have:

  • A minimum of 1 years experience working in electronic music PR
  • A keen interest in the electronic music scene as a whole, including relevant media and night industry landscape.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Excellent written English
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • A professional manner
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as being proactive within your own remit
  • A desire to be creative in how you work
  • The ability to handle a large, diverse workload

The Role:

  • You will be tasked with maintaining and building a worldwide database of local media contacts across radio, online and print
  • Liaising with large groups of stakeholders on strategy targets and achievements
  • Managing PR assistants
  • Keeping and servicing detailed reports including press clippings
  • Writing and servicing press releases. 
  • Pitching to media. 
  • Handling interview logistics.
  • Upkeep of artist EPK
  • Assisting in strategising campaigns. 

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Full time (3 Days in office / 2 Days WFH after training period)
Location: This is a suburban (West) London role and we will only be considering candidates who can be based out of our office. 
Salary: TBD /dependant on experience.
