Job Description

Marketing Analyst

Based: High Wycombe, London or Remote (UK only, with occasional visits to High Wycombe office)
Term: Permanent, Full time
Salary: £30000 - £38000 pa +. Excellent benefits

The Role:

As Marketing Analyst you'll use your passion for marketing and all things data to deliver analysis, insights and recommendations that will help our marketing team improve campaign performance and marketing ROI.

This is a new role within the Marketing Operations team so there’s a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact. You will build new reports and dashboards and uncover insights that will help us improve. As well as working closely with the wider marketing team, you’ll have the support of our central Business Intelligence team and will work with them to create the data infrastructure needed to automate our reporting.

Core responsibilities include;

• Data management – centralise, organise, clean, and connect our datasets, working alongside the BI team.

• Gather and interpret stakeholder requirements for data and analysis, recommending the best approach and developing clear reporting specs to ensure the analysis meets requirements.

• Build and maintain reports and dashboards (primarily in PowerBI) to provide clear visibility of performance and drive action across the marketing team to improve marketing ROI.

• Develop and manage the roadmap for future reports, dashboards, and marketing analytics capabilities.

• Manage the technical aspects of our MarTech platforms (existing platforms and new platform evaluations), connecting and integrating platforms and ensuring the seamless flow of data between them.

• Work closely with the central BI and IT teams to ensure marketing data and technology projects align with business processes, privacy and data protection legislation and company best practice.

• Relevant experience in a data driven marketing role or an analysis role.

• A good understanding of marketing campaign reporting.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell a story with data, to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of presentation.

• Experience of marketing technology such as Salesforce, HubSpot and Google Analytics (but your experience does not have to be with these specific tools).

• Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI would be great, but is not essential as training will be provided.
