Job Description

As a Regional Manager for the UK & Ireland, you will be part of the Global Content Network Team. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing content like artist, label and club pages in your region  and ensuring that we cover a wide range of genres and communities. You will be recruiting and managing City Managers for RA’s ever growing Contributor Network, which supports local scenes across the world through local content and editorial, accurate and up to date event listings and a focus on local artists, labels and promoters. You will be responsible for improving our event listings and profile in the UK & Ireland and work closely with communities across the country, amplifying artists and promoters and prioritising local music and event discovery. You will be the direct point of contact for promoters, venues, festivals, artists and labels who wish to work with and be listed on RA in the region. You will also support the editorial team with associated content for upcoming news and features in your region and work to maximise the opportunity around RA Tickets from a business development and promoter support POV. You will also be supporting RA events taking place in the UK & Ireland. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Shaping RAs regional strategy for future growth in the UK & Ireland with Head Of Global Content Network.
  • Growing RA’s audience and profile in key cities by shaping and delivering on annual KPIs. 
  • Monitoring regional data and providing feedback to the Global Content Network Team and City Managers.
  • Management, recruitment, and support of City Managers. 
  • Grow RA’s involvement in local communities in key cities through community projects and partnering with local promoters.
  • Assist with RA Picks from major cities in the UK & Ireland.
  • Acting as the liaison between our editorial team and City Managers in the region, screening and submitting local news and feature ideas. 
  • Coordinating Instagram coverage for key events & strategising with the Social Media Team on how to make the local social presence as effective as possible.
  • Assist with local festival partnerships and help coordinate regional RA events 
  • Business development; work with the Revenue Team to identify potential clients. 
  • Assist with support for local promoters, users and artists 

Experience Required:

In-depth understanding of the RA site and its various user features and content

Previous experience with a Content Management System

Previous experience in managing freelancers  

In-depth knowledge of the most relevant and popular electronic music artists, labels, venues, promoters and events in the UK & Ireland 

Ability to articulate precise, detailed and timely directions in writing to various users, artists, label managers, etc.

Must have a keen eye for detail as well as being highly organised
