RA is seeking a designer with a passion for music and cultural aesthetics. Your role as a Senior Designer will be to visually communicate RA’s entry into a new editorial chapter. This role will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief to bring the editorial copy to life, striving to deliver work on time and to the highest standards.
You will be required to create compelling visuals to accompany our editorial and socials output, in addition to leading the execution of persuasive pitch decks that can sell strategic concepts and brand partnerships. In tandem with these responsibilities, you will also be liaising with a network of freelancers to help develop and diversify the new look and feel of RA. Your work and that of the team you lead will consistently reflect the brand values and visual identity; you will have a deep understanding of what is or isn’t ‘us’ and be able to respond to projects accordingly.
You will become a key part of the Content team, contributing to various aspects of the company. Working closely with the existing internal design team, you will deliver creative solutions across a variety of projects for the editorial, films, brands, partnerships and events departments.
You should maintain an active interest in design and communication, realising its potential and pushing RAs visual identity further.
We welcome applicants looking for permanent or freelance contracts and will be happy to discuss what will work best for you should you be selected for an interview. Working hours and location are flexible, with the ideal candidate based in the same city as our core editorial team (London, Berlin, or New York).
RA welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, ethnicities, experiences, expressions, and orientations. We aim for the staffing at RA to be a reflection of the communities we cover, amplify and participate within. We actively promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace, this is reflected in our internal operations and the treatment of our staff.
