Job Description

RA is looking for a Country Manager who will be responsible for improving our event listings and profile in the US. You will gain an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the RA platform, working closely with communities across the country, amplifying Artists and Promoters and prioritising local music and event discovery. The Country Manager will recruit and manage City Managers, as part of RA's Local Contributor Network program which aims to support local scenes across the world. This role will also be the direct point of contact for promoters, venues, festivals, artists and labels who wish to work with and be listed on RA in the US. The ideal candidate will already be deeply involved in the New York City dance music community.  

The Country Manager will also be supporting our Customer Success Team. This will involve answering support requests from ticket buyers and promoters as well as daily approval of event, artist, label and venue pages. The position will support our ticketing team across the globe to ensure we maintain our industry-leading service levels, playing a vital part in the daily operations of one of RA’s most dynamic teams.

Key responsibilities:


  • Shaping RAs regional strategy for future growth in the US with Head Of Content.
  • Growing RA’s audience and profile in key cities by shaping and delivering on annual KPIs. 
  • Monitoring regional data and providing feedback to the Content Team and City Managers.
  • Management, recruitment, and support of City Managers. 
  • Grow RA’s involvement in local communities in key cities through community projects and partnering with local promoters.
  • Assist with RA Picks from major cities in the US.
  • Acting as the liaison between our Editorial team and US City Manager, screening and submitting local news and feature ideas. 
  • Coordinating Instagram coverage for key events & strategizing with the Social Media Team on how to make the local social presence as effective as possible.
  • Assist with local festival partnerships and help coordinate regional RA events 
  • Business development; work with the Media Team to identify potential clients. 


Customer and promoter support:

  • Dealing with customer queries and resolving potential ticket issues
  • Communicating with promoters regarding ticket related queries
  • Ensuring promoters are efficiently prepared for managing their entry logistics
  • Training promoters on our latest technologies
  • General upkeep of ticketing admin system
  • Identifying and highlighting potential fraudulent transactions using fraud detection software
  • Managing promoter payments and advances
