We are looking for a driven, organised and forward thinking Project Manager who is passionate about dance music and will oversee our key communication processes for the team and project management of our major initiatives including label management of our new joint venture new record label with Universal.
The client is an internationally renowned artist, music producer & DJ, has sold 40MM records worldwide across pop, house and dance genres, as well as receiving multiple Grammy, Brit & Ivor Novello nominations. He is recognised for his visionary live performances, memorable marketing campaigns, and attention to detail in execution. The record label prides itself on developing multicultural and forward thinking music spanning diferent genres but all chosen with taste, integrity and an eye for commercial success.
This new senior management role will get the unique opportunity to work directly with Jax and his team and thrive in a high speed collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial culture. We are a small core team so each person is valued in contributing to our processes, decisions and planning. To be successful in this role they must understand project management best practices, are able to clearly defne roles and responsibilities of team members and stakeholders, manage multiple end-to-end creative workfows, and able to proactively provide thoughtful solutions to address changes in timelines or feedback. They will be an organised self-starter with the ability to develop and implement processes and able to work alongside cross-functional teams to provide guidance for projects.
•Taking responsibility for multiple, concurrent projects, managed from inception, to post project completion and benefts realisation across Jax Jones suite of activities.
•Maintaining, communicating, and agreeing project plans, deliverables, and milestones, to deliver products and services fromour Objectives Roadmap.
•managing deadlines and assets,assigning responsibilities and monitoring projects to ensure successful delivery.•Review, refne and introduce efective operational process change for heightened efciency.
•Create a centralised digital hub and Manage operational resources within it.
•Mature understanding of fnancial incomes and outgoingsof the businesses to inform efciency savings, resource allocation and benefts realisation.
•Regular and logical reporting back to key stakeholders.
•Develop and manage marketing strategy set by marketing team including asset delivery, marketing strategy and timelines for every label release
•Develop, maintain and expand relations with artists, managers, agents, pluggers, outside PR, distribution, DSP’s and others as required.
•Manage and trackexecution of campaign timelinesincluding detailed recording of campaign data
•Manage all associated release administration and other reporting and support tasks as required.
•Ensure timely delivery of all assets to required platforms.
•Responsible for communicating campaign updates with artists, managers and other key partners throughout a product's lifecycle•In partnership with label founders, responsible for developing and managing label brand through all marketing comms; digital and physical
•Leading and coaching internal and external marketing team on every release
•Own the P&L for the Label and every release
•Responsible for quarterly accounting with Business Manager, prepping artist statements and ensuring label is meeting set financial targets
Essential Experience/ skills:
•Minimum 3 years project management experience (Music Industry non essential)
•Clear and efectivewritten and verbal communicator
•Proven experience of being well organised.
•Passion for the music industry
•Creative strategist and operational beast
•Experience with and excited by developing and executing music marketing campaigns
•Knowledge of A&R admin
•A positive people person; effective at leading teams and making new connections
