Job Summary: As the Marketing Account Manager, you will work with the broader Marketing, Production and Artist Partnerships team to lead strategic and technological planning, development and execution of a portfolio of artist-driven, direct-to-fan marketing campaigns for upcoming shows on Bandsintown PLUS, Bandsintown’s first-of-its-kind live-streaming concert subscription service.

With a proven track record of data-driven marketing within the context of the US concert and touring industry, you will need an in-depth understanding of the music market and the evolving direct-to-fan marketing landscape to develop and execute unique marketing concepts that drive acquisition and retention for Bandsintown’s newly launched subscription service..

Requirements

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with artists’ marketing teams to promote upcoming performance on Bandsintown PLUS and support the development of strategic partnerships with management agencies.
  • Leverage data, insights and technology to work with the production and marketing teams to develop and execute strategic marketing concepts that drive user acquisition and retention to Bandsintown PLUS.
  • Work closely with the Bandsintown product teams to leverage performance metrics to optimize user acquisition and retention UX over time.
  • Lead the on-going effort to identify and educate internally and externally the development and value of unique direct-to-fan marketing strategies.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years experience in artist-centric digital-marketing, US touring / concert industry. Experience with direct-to-fan marketing, including album releases and merch sales is a PLUS.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, as well as the ability to clearly communicate outcomes
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising landscape
  • Strong ability to manage a high volume client portfolio
