Job Description

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to help grow Reverb’s presence across Europe.

At Reverb, we’re bringing our mission of making the world more musical to life through authentic, customer-centric marketing campaigns and building deep relationships with music gear retailers and manufacturers. We are constantly exploring new ways to acquire, activate, and retain buyers and sellers.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in executing successful, data-informed digital advertising, brand partnerships, affiliate and influencer marketing, email marketing, and social media campaigns. The marketing specialist will collaborate with Reverb’s American and European marketing teams to build, optimize, and localize campaigns to acquire and retain music makers of all levels from across Europe. The specialist will serve as a voice for our European customers to ensure that Reverb’s marketing hits the right note in each market where campaigns are delivered.


  • Collaborate with Reverb’s European and US-based marketing teams to acquire new buyers and sellers to grow Reverb in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany through campaigns showcasing the marketplace’s unique inventory and deep music gear expertise.
  • Develop, launch, and optimize data-informed marketing campaigns through digital advertising, social media, affiliate and influencer marketing, and email marketing.
  • Continuously optimize performance through testing and experimentation and in close collaboration with the sales team, brand and content marketers, and designers.
  • Compile, analyze, and deliver weekly reporting and insights to improve future campaigns and share data and trends from each market to inform ongoing marketing strategy.
  • Align campaigns with the brand and content strategy and briefs, while tailoring the execution based on what works in the local market.


  • 3+ years of online marketing experience, including e-commerce, consumer, or marketplace experience
  • Demonstrated success executing campaigns in one or more digital marketing channels, including social media, affiliate and influencer marketing, and partnerships.
  • Strong critical thinking skills coupled with a bias towards action and the ability to make the most of available resources to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Outstanding writing skills, an understanding of the nuances of marketing copy, and the ability to communicate to multiple audiences.
  • You are highly collaborative and operate with integrity, confidence, and empathy.
  • You are enthusiastic about contributing to a marketplace that serves the creative community, and you care deeply about the customer experience!
  • Proficiency in English and German, Italian, or Spanish.
  • Knowledge and a passion for musical instruments and music gear is a plus!

This is a full-time position open to the following locations: The Netherlands. While all of our employees are currently remote, our future of work plan will offer flexible workplace policies that can accommodate work from home candidates who are comfortable traveling to the office location 2-3 times per week.
