Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and savvy Content Editor passionate about sound, music & tech to oversee our content publishing needs in a fast-paced work environment. You will work with a team of marketers, product managers and developers to create, produce and curate compelling and engaging content for our audience. To excel in this role, you will have experience in developing, producing and editing content, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. A Bachelor's Degree in English or a related field is a must, as well as a deep knowledge in Audio/Music Production and Technology

Key Responsibilities:

  • map out content strategies and needs that support and extend marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term
  • craft fresh storytelling content that drives momentum and engagement on organic & paid social channels
  • plan, manage and oversee content production and guide freelancers and agency teams such as graphic designers, agile production teams etc.
  • own and manage a content budget to cover all production needs
  • Writing skills: You can write for various different audiences, utilizing different tone and voice. You can write for social, blog, emails, and the web. You have authored content in the public domain and have a writing portfolio
  • Storytelling skills: You understand the building blocks of a great story. You can move and engage people with your words. You create engaging and highly sharable content for different platforms
  • ensure created content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice
  • organize, modify and update existing content
  • report on and review content performance in order to enable optimization based on those results and increase reader engagement
  • ensure content is optimized for SEO, suggest & implement tactics that increase organic traffic
  • collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, PR Managers, Sales Managers
  • represent the organization at launches, meetings, and press events
  • Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, English or related field
  • Excellent command of the English language/native English speaker
  • 2 Yrs experience content marketing to / working with B2C-suite audiences (preferably in Consumer Electronics industry)
  • 2 Yrs experience creating content strategies & content for both customers and sales audiences
  • excellent expertise of audio in general, audio forums and audio platforms
  • understanding of current trends in music and pop culture with a global view and of popular forms of media and communication channels
  • Exceptional communication, copy writing, editing and organizational skills 
  • Experience managing freelancers
  • Proven SEO Onpage skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, desktop publishing software and Social Media platforms
