Linkfire is looking for a full-time BDM - Partner Programs to work with acquisition and extension of strategic partnerships.

You will join a company with roots and heart in music. We’re a team of designers, engineers, product managers, and more, drawn from every corner of the globe.

The common denominator? Music—we live and breathe the stuff.

The Role:
As BDM - Partner Programs at Linkfire, you will get the chance to work closely with the biggest players in the Music, Media, and Entertainment industry. You will develop your own relationships with new accounts and help to further develop our partnerships with existing ones.

Your responsibilities will cover both a systematic approach to growing the business as well as a focus on strong execution. You will interface with stakeholders in and out of the organization, including senior management and top tier partners. On a daily basis, your tasks will include outreach to prospects, negotiations, reporting, and meetings with partners and new accounts.

With this role, you will join our growing LA-office, with colleagues in NYC and Europe. You’ll get to actively shape the culture of our LA-team and report to our Chief Business Development Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Build new partnerships and business development accounts. Help to retain and expand on existing ones
  • Spar with the commercial team regularly to find out how to uncover new revenue opportunities or retention strategies via business development
  • Support and communicate go-to-market plans, optimization implementation and overseeing new launches.

Abilities and Skills:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in business development or partnership role
  • It’s a must that you love all things music. Also, you have experience within the Music Industry and with industry players in the Music space, such as DSPs
  • You understand the difference between a sale and a partnership and you’re able to mix the two in your process to reach agreements where both parties gain value
  • You’re a self-starter with a proven ability to execute, both individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tell and support compelling stories with data.
  • People skills. A lot.

We’re headquartered in Copenhagen, with offices in NYC, LA and Lisbon. Every day we help artists we adore to realizing their potential through the power of music data.

Underpinning our culture is collaborative, agile processes, and something we like to call the ‘Nordic spirit.’ It means working together with transparency, respect, and honesty. And that goes for the way we do business too.

What’s in it for you:

  • An open, informal entrepreneurial startup working environment
  • A truly international spirit, with 4 global locations and over 20 different nationalities
  • Generous paid time off plans and a Scandinavian work-life balance right here in LA
  • We offer an employee warrant scheme and employee health benefits
  • Enjoy paid daily lunches with your colleagues
  • The chance for your work to impact the music consumption of millions of music enthusiasts all over the globe
