Our flagship summit, IMS Ibiza, is held annually in May and unites thousands of delegates from the global electronic music ecosystem from over fifty countries for a week of conversation, connection and celebration. We curate hundreds of the world’s best thinkers, strategists and creatives to debate the most pressing issues facing our industry today, as well as producing networking events for industry leaders, artists and tastemakers along with some of the best parties on the island of Ibiza.
We maintain a dialogue with our community across the year, using our platform to communicate our strategy and developments under our key brand pillars.
IMS was created by Pete Tong & Ben Turner in 2007 during a crisis moment for electronic music, we remain as committed now as we were then to driving electronic music forward and helping to create a more sustainable and thoughtful industry.
We are looking for a creative and highly motivated individual with a passion for electronic music to join our global team. This person will own the entire IMS social media and content strategy, reporting into the General Manager, with overall responsibility for the management and growth of IMS Ibiza & IMS College social media channels.
The ideal candidate will have an encyclopedic knowledge of electronic music culture, an in-depth understanding of social media and will be able to demonstrate experience of growing social media communities and audience engagement through innovation. Ready to hit the ground running, the ideal candidate will also have strong skills in both copywriting and the creation of static and video assets.
This role requires an individual who has a strong creative streak as well as the ability to be analytical, to measure, test and optimise in order to get the best results. This is a remote role, so being able to manage your own time with minimal supervision is essential.
You will be joining a supportive, welcoming team where you can own your projects from day one, with the opportunity to input into wider IMS global strategy. Initially a part time freelance position, there is scope for this to grow into a full time role for the right person.
