Head of Marketing Operations
High Wycombe, London or remote (with regular weekly visits to High Wycombe)
Salary: Up to £50k, depending on experience
Term: Full-time, permanent

As the Head of Marketing Operations, you will have the ultimate aim of ensuring we have predictable, efficient and scalable marketing programmes. You will be accountable for, and support the Sales and Marketing teams in, four key areas; data and analytics, marketing systems, lead management, and task/project management.

Core responsibilities include;

  • Responsible for the operational planning, development and delivery of marketing campaigns and activities.
  • Constantly gather quantitative and qualitative feedback on existing processes and implement changes to drive greater marketing operational efficiency.
  • Define, document and continually improve all governance and prioritisation frameworks within the marketing team.
  • Own the marketing operations road map, ensuring marketing technology has a full specification drawn up, is evaluated, selected, implemented and customised to meet the needs of the sales and marketing teams, while avoiding bloated and over-engineered solutions.
  • Be the subject matter expert on our marketing technology stack and ensure best practise is employed by the team.
  • Working closely with the BI and wider Marketing teams, ensure key department reporting is in place and delivered on a regular basis.
  • Analyse and optimise our marketing performance, identifying insight that will further improve our return on marketing spend.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of full funnel, campaign dashboards and tactical level reporting across the team.
  • Line management of the Marketing Activity Coordinator and Localisation Coordinator.
  • Working closely with the marketing leadership team to resolve any workload and priority conflicts that arise.
  • Lead, working with the Localisation Coordinator, our localisation initiative across the business.
  • Change management within the marketing team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between Marketing and the Project Management team, managing the successful delivery of all required marketing deliverables for new product launches.
  • Champion collaboration between marketing and other teams, ensuring our processes and workflows interface appropriately with those of other departments.
  • Design and implement full end-to-end sales processes, including prospecting, lead scoring and lead nurturing.
  • Ensure all marketing campaigns and activities have a clear route to revenue generation.

What we are looking for;

  • 4+ years in marketing operations, marketing management, project management or similar
  • Strong communicator
  • Highly numerate, analytical and detail oriented
  • Proven track record in delivering efficient marketing processes and frameworks
  • Thorough understanding of marketing channels, assets and workflows
  • Experience of using marketing systems – CRM, automation, etc.
  • Experience of requirement/use case gathering and onboarding of marketing systems, or similar
  • Line management experience
  • Ideally, experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Ideally, a passion for music and music technology
