How about you?

The Artist Relations Manager enables artists and labels to partner closely with Deezer in artist development. You will design and implement powerful marketing campaigns and maintain strong industry relationships across the independent sector.

The position is based in either London or Paris.

What you will do ?

  • Evangelise about Deezer to labels, distributors and artist management companies.
  • Organise the pitch process for playlists, identify priority releases and communicate this to the editorial team.
  • Discuss suitability of releases with editorial team regarding playlists and then negotiate with label and artist teams to secure artist support and involvement.
  • Leverage artist, artist management and label relationships to build impactful artist marketing campaigns that appeal to both existing and new users.
  • Direct campaigns from initial pitch to completion and ensure maximum artist participation at every stage.
  • Negotiate with labels and artists to plan events and create original content.
  • Continually monitor user data and apply it to achieve maximum impact in artist marketing activity.
  • Ensure all stakeholders in a project are kept informed e.g. territories, editorial, acquisitions, social, PR, CRM, ad sales, product, brand/studio, partnerships etc.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Deezer teams in other countries and take their needs into consideration when planning artist marketing projects
  • Record and track the status of all campaigns and create detailed reports of all activities.
  • Manage budgets to ensure maximum return on investment.


What we are looking for :

  • You have a deep passion for the independent music scene.
  • You will have at least two years experience working in music or marketing. 
  • You're able to build strong relationships with internal colleagues and external partners.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You're well organised with the ability to plan and deliver on tight deadlines.
  • You have excellent attention to detail.
  • You're able to craft and deliver professional presentations.
  • You're willing to work odd hours and at weekends when necessary.
  • You have a network of music industry contacts (rights holders, managers, agents, promoters and artists).
  • You have a strong understanding of the music industry supply chain (labels, distributors, repertoire owners, publishers).
  • You have good analytical skills and ability to interpret and apply data.
  • You keenly follow the latest news and developments in the music and technology industries.
  • You are fully proficient in both spoken and written English.
