Recognised as the Apple Top 100 Apps of 2016 in the world and the fastest growing start-up in Spain in 2018 according to Tech5, our team is currently looking for an experienced Senior Sales Executive to grow Xceed brand further in our second biggest market, Italy.
Who you are
We are seeking a proactive and experienced sales profile with an interest in music, events and clubbing culture to form, manage, and develop relationships with our portfolio of clients (clubs, festivals, organisers, etc.).
As part of an exciting and growing team, you will be specifically responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities and growing our client portfolio in size and calibre, in Italy.
Ideally, you will have experience within the events and ticketing industry, whether it be on the promoter side or at a ticketing company.
What you will do
- Alongside our Country Manager in Italy, your primary focus will be to grow Xceed brand by closing deals with new B2B clients across our second biggest market, Italy
- By becoming an expert in our B2B solution (The Nightgraph) you will communicate its value as the ultimate event management tool to potential clients and persuade them to use it as their ticketing platform (among other functionalities)
- You will autonomously research and study this specific target market in order to build a successful sales strategy in the market, guided and supported by your manager and team
- You will contact potential clients by phone, email and face to face meetings, therefore, some travelling will be necessary
- Together with your Italian counterpart you will make sure that the right on-boarding is done to all new clients on how to use and make the most of our software with the ultimate goal of having all events published on Xceed platforms to generate ticket sales
- You will report directly to and be mentored by our Sales Director based in Barcelona HQ
What we are looking for
- Confident, passionate and highly organised self-starter
- A proven track record of successfully closing B2B sales, especially in an industry similar to ours
- Experience in the ticketing and nightlife or music events industries will be a major plus
- Experience of working autonomously in researching, building and following a sales strategy
- Entrepreneurial mindset and an interest in start-ups
- Experience of working with a SaaS solution or at least a good technical capacity
- A good business sense
- An affinity with (especially electronic) music will be big plus
- An understanding of our potential client (club manager) profile and their ways of working
- A humble attitude and a good sense of humour are a must :)
- Good skills in G Suite and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Native Italian and fluent English
- Driving license will be a plus
- Preferably based in Milan but not mandatory
- Moderation is fatal
