We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic new member to join our team!

The position will be based in our Central London office. This is a unique opportunity to get experience in events and to develop your knowledge of how events work. This is the perfect role for someone looking to launch a career in event management.

MJMK was founded in 2013 and initially focused on creative music events. After successfully establishing the brand ‘Unleash’ in London, MJMK has moved on to their second events series called ‘Boneca’. Since its founding 7 years ago ‘Boneca’ turned into a high-end monthly event bringing some of the foremost electronic music artists to the best venues in London.

The Role

MJMK is seeking for a Events assistant working in the production of high-end creative music events.

The candidate will work closely with our managers on the day to day administration & production of an event. This role requires working at odd hours and occasionally on the weekends. The successful candidate will report and work with the Events Manager & the Directors.

Responsibilities
70% Events / 30% Office Management

  • Liaising in events administration - top to bottom help with event organisation including bookings, advancing, logistics

  • On-site events management from event set-up to derig

  • Venue research

  • Artist & line-up research, as well as database upkeep

  • Artist logistics (flights, hotels, etc)

  • Operation & maintenance of Events POS-Systems

  • Customer relations & administration for our VIP table clients

  • Helping around the office with IT related issues

  • Back Office Administration 

Requirements

  • University degree

  • Ability of managing and structuring multiple projects, take initiative and follow up –

    must be diligent

  • Best in class attention to detail

  • Experience in working with artists, managers, 3rd party production companies and

    events

  • Deep knowledge of the electronic music scene and its current trends

  • Solution-oriented mindset within a high-pressure environment

  • Advanced IT Skills – knowledge of Microsoft Office essential. Knowledge of Indesign,

    Photoshop preferable

  • Willingness to work in a late night, high pressure environment for events

  • Professionalism and high level of discretion

  • Strong administrative skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
